Right, if nothing else, you might stop here to look at the lovely Fuyu no Semi blow-job icon.

So...it's been awhile - hello to old and new friends! *waves* I don't post often, but you can trust hope that what I do have to say is of vital cosmic significance....

Where was I?

Oh yes, firstly, thank-you to [livejournal.com profile] treacle_tartlet, [livejournal.com profile] cassie_black12, [livejournal.com profile] nicevenn, and [livejournal.com profile] brissygirl for the cute Yorkie V gifts!

Secondly, how about all of this wonderful fic and art that's been posting lately, huh?! I'm way behind, but will get through it - my must read list grows daily.

Speaking of the "F" word, my [livejournal.com profile] hd_holidays and [livejournal.com profile] hd_remix fics are now with my first beta-of-awesome waiting to be systematically taken apart so I can do a Steve Austin on them. I'm halfway through [livejournal.com profile] hp_yule_balls, which is proving slightly trickier because it's not only for a friend that I absolutely love, but it's also a genre and pairing I've not written much of (any of, really) before. I've recruited two very able writers to carry cheer-lead me through it, and I'm certainly loving the process, even if the end result is Bantha poo-doo.

Thirdly, I'm all excited because I'm meeting up with [livejournal.com profile] dark0feenix and anyone else who's interested in London on Tuesday! I'm really looking forward to a day of shopping, lunch and gossip. Please let me know if you'd like to join us!!!

Fourthly, happy birthday to my toy-boy for tomorrow! He'll be a whole 30 years old!! WooOT! Nothing especially big planned to celebrate it (unless getting my flu jab counts) and anyway, we're all far too damn busy in the next few weeks. He's being deployed again in early November till the middle of January, so it's all go here getting stuff sorted out and recruiting slaves friends to help out as my life doesn't actually get LESS busy during that time. Where is Molly Weasley when I need her?!

And finally, there's no way I'm sitting through another SCD Results Show and have already looked up who's gone out. Not my first choice, but it was bound to happen. My first choice was the other person in the bottom two, who never fails to make me want to smash something upside his/her head.

That is all.

Hi!

Also so behind on the H/D fic reading. And I've been downloading free eBooks like crazy, so I have those to go through as well. Oh, the horror :)

I know your fic won't be Bantha poo-doo, but I love that you use that phrase anyway :D

Wait, has your SCD results show already happened and you read the results? Or do you guys get spoilers over there? I've never read anything really accurate for our Dancing with the Stars (unless it was pretty obvious who was going home anyway). I'd probably still watch the results show though, even if it's 90% filler.

Yay for meetups!

The Results Show is filmed on the same night as the regular show and then they try to sell it as a different show.

The results are posted on several spoliler blogs, usually by people who've attnded the filming or friends of bloggers who have.

Oh. I guess that helps avoid all the boring filler. Ours are broadcast live the next evening. Or, as the host (Tom Bergeron) would say, "Liiiiiive!" :)

We don't have a results show for Dancing with the Stars. Our results are shown at the end of the following week's show. So the dancers get a reprieve for the first week, and start getting sent home in the second. :)

X-factor and the like have results show's though. But since I don't watch it, it doesn't matter to me much.

So, do they just have a little announcement at the end of the show that says "So-and-So is going home"? Our ABC could not in any way pass up the opportunity for mad advertising dollars, hence we have an hour long results show on Tuesday nights (with the dramatic music and the couples being called safe or in jeopardy, the red light of doom, etc.) the night after the performance show.

Oh wait, you're in Australia aren't you? Your show gave us Kym Johnson - she's one of my favorite pro dancers :D < /random squee>

They still do the whole, this person is safe, this person isn't thing. But instead of having a different show for the results they just show it at the end of the normal program. Our normal weekly show is 2hours long as it is.

Yes Kim is a brillian dancer. She won several Aussie seasons of the show. She won the second season with this Beefcake

Hello new friend! *waves*

I second the feeling of wonderment at all the new fic and art that's being produced. Although we probably aren't seeing the same fic and art, fandoms have been pretty active lately and it makes me go squee. :D

Oh I love fandom exchanges and challenges! I'm not participating in any HP exchanges this year, but I've got a whole load of things I'm doing, probably too much in fact. My spreadsheet, let me show you it.

I'd love to join you in London, but I'm in sodding Pennsylvania. XD

Happy birthday to your toy-boy! ♥

LOLOL! Sorry, but the sodding Pennsylvania made me laugh. At least there's good baseball there.

I love how you don't put down you're writing 200K fest fics, and damn, you're doing a lot! If you're like me, those you have an eternity to write are the ones you want to do first. [livejournal.com profile] hd_remix isn't due till February, but it demanded to be written in the space of a week in September.

I wish there were more hours in the day. I have a job I love so the working day goes just as fast. I'm exhausted just thinking about life, sometimes.

I shall squee with you, nonetheless!

"Where is Molly Weasley when I need her?!"

Upon reading that I got hit with this horrible wave of reality. I forget that these characters don't physically exist sometimes.

It seems to me a damn shame that there is no Molly Weasley. Especially when you could really use her help.

I know! How dare my reality be shattered by the non-existance of these characters? At least they're kept alive by us - and a little help still goes a long way in my book.

Although a house-elf wouldn't go amiss. I'd rather have Kreacher than Dobby, though. Dobby just reminds me of the person I was talking about at the end of my post :D

*watches SCD Results Show*

*agrees and also often wishes to smack the other person upside their head*

*settles down to watch the X Factor results before resuming today's primary occupation of staring at a blank piece of paper wishing for [livejournal.com profile] hd_holidays inspiration*

My Sunday night schedule is clearly filled with excitement. :D

You're welcome hon!

Wow you have been a busy lady since you started your new job.

Happy Birthday to Mr Darry, I hope you got to spend some time with him on his big day. ;)

Since you've been so busy you probably haven't seen this: My Christmas card entry I'm making cards this year, so I can customise them a bit. :)
