HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

I didn't say anything about this earlier because I didn't want to jinx myself, but I interviewed for a job on Friday, after finding out about the interview two days beforehand - damn that volcanic ash!

Anyway, I guess my past job experience combined with the awesomeness of my PowerPoint skillz and ability to talk too much was enough to wow the panel. (I even had to do maths as part of the interview - so glad I didn't know about that going into it!)

I am now the new Public Health Programme Lead for Immunisation and Screening in West Berkshire. But before I can take that on, I have to finish my hd_smoochfest fic! I'm not sure which is the more daunting of prospects...

I've got one other (Michael flipping the bird), but I don't have it uploaded.

To this day Lost Boys remains one of my all-time favorite movies. Even my mom likes it and we very rarely agree on movies from that era. I've got the movie, somewhere, one one of those ancient archiving devices known as the VHS. If I ever find it on Blu-Ray it is MINE. I'd even settle for DVD but would rather Blu-Ray.

It's funny, though. My oldest will watch all three Blade movies back-to-back and not bat an eyelash, but he says Lost Boys is "too scary." Of course, this is also the child who is still - at 15 years old - freaked out by E.T.
