HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

I didn't say anything about this earlier because I didn't want to jinx myself, but I interviewed for a job on Friday, after finding out about the interview two days beforehand - damn that volcanic ash!

Anyway, I guess my past job experience combined with the awesomeness of my PowerPoint skillz and ability to talk too much was enough to wow the panel. (I even had to do maths as part of the interview - so glad I didn't know about that going into it!)

I am now the new Public Health Programme Lead for Immunisation and Screening in West Berkshire. But before I can take that on, I have to finish my hd_smoochfest fic! I'm not sure which is the more daunting of prospects...

Happy Birthday, Sweetie! I hope you have a great birthday. Here's some good ol' fashioned Sam/Lee for ya. It's not NC-17, but I tried to make it as steamy a PG-13 as possible.

"If you had asked me before, I would have said that the color purple wasn’t really your color," Sam said as he leaned against the hatchway entrance, his arms crossed across his chest, as he watched Lee adjusting his purple striped tie.

Sam had heard that the former CAG was going to become the next Caprica Delegate to the Quorum of Twelve and he had come up to wish him good luck before his first official session. He had been silently watching the gorgeous man finish putting on the final touches to his new ‘uniform’ for some time. There was something about watching a man, dressed in a well-fitted suit, which always made his mouth water.

“But now that I see it on you, I think you look really handsome in it. Maybe you should look into getting more clothing in that color. It brings out the fire in your eyes when you get angry.”

Sam could see that he had startled Lee and brought him out of his deep thoughts. Before he had spoke, Sam had been watching Lee as he stood in front of the mirror, staring down at his chest as he worked his fingers in and out of his tie trying his best to make a perfect knot. He had become flustered a couple of times and would work to untie it and try to start over again. Feeling pity on the poor, uncoordinated soul, Sam uncrossed his arms, stood up straight, and walked over to Lee, gently turning him around to face Sam.

He was close to Lee now, and he could feel the nervous body heat emanating from the politician. Being this close to the other man always made Sam’s stomach clench and his cock harden a bit. There was no doubt in his mind that he wanted Lee, he had since the first time Kara had introduced them to each other. That had seemed like so long ago. Could it really have been only two years? Being Kara’s widower, and now her husband again, it would have been difficult for him now to play the flirt to her one of her former lovers. He had known about the two of them… before she died, but had never confronted Kara or forced her to stop, because the thought of them fucking each other made for fantastic masturbation material. When Sam looked up into those pretty blue eyes, he held his breath for a moment. The intensity in their depths took his breath away, and he had to fight the urge to lean in just that little distance between them and gently bring their lips together. He could feel his groin tightening from the sexual tension between them now. He pictured using that purple necktie to bind Lee’s hands to a bedpost before he worked his way down that gorgeous body with his tongue.

Quickly, Sam looked down again to finish tying the knot before he took a step back. He knew when this was over he would be heading straight back to his duty lockers to stroke off this growing erection.

When he was done with the tie, he firmly placed his hands on Lee’s shoulders giving him a quick double pat before turning him around to face see his work in the mirror.

“See, all done, a nice perfect knot for our newest delegate.” He stepped up close to Lee’s back without touching him, and brought his hand around to straighten the tie one last time.

He tried to keep some distance, even if it was a few spare inches, between them so that Lee wouldn’t feel his growing desire for him, but then Lee did something unexpected that dashed those hopes down the drain.

With just the slightest half step back, Lee rested his shoulder blades against Sam’s chest. Sam could feel Lee’s ass as he snuggled up to Sam’s fully hardened cock and Sam unconsciously groaned at the contact, giving a small thrust back into those curved buttocks. I took 5 of the prompts that I could think of a use for, wrote out a 5-page humor fluff slightly-cracky fic, and included (gasp) some minor touching. It's, er, a big thing for me, since I almost never write that kind of thing in any sort of detail.
