Holiday Wish List - my turn

Idea filched from everyone but copied and pasted from cassie_black12's lj (as are some of the requests, because we're really one entity with a few extra limbs and a lot of tits).

Step One

* Make a post to your LJ with a list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, big or small, expensive or free, fandom-related or not. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

* If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

* Surf around your friends list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use—or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free—do it.

* You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not — it's your call.

* There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.




All the non-virtual stuff is light and should be cheap to post (if you've a mind to). I'll PM my address :)

1. Icons - I'm a sucker for these. Would love some hawt next gen ones especially. And some with my name on, maybe? Please?

2. A rec list (art/fic/anything) tailored just por moi. I might already have some of the suggestions, but no worries - it just means you know me. And what do I like? SLASH (duh), HPverse - first-time, schoolsmut, trainsmut (H/D, AS/S, H/Sc, James II/Anyone, Teddy/Anyone, Scorp/Anyone). STverse - Sp/Mc, BSGverse - Lee/Anyone. In all 'verses, I love fluff, hurt/comfort, happy endings.

3. Drabbles or fic or art with any of the above in. PLEASE! Oh, please, please, please.

4. Plain old regular-flavoured Crystal Lite iced tea. No fruity ones, no special anything, just the regular flavour.

5. I never thought I'd say this, but the kids want them - Star Wars Episodes I, II, and III (Region 1 or 2, new, used, stolen, whatever).

6. Belly button rings - I'm bored with all the ones I have.

7. Dance music recs - Am getting a bit tired of the songs I've been working out to and I really need some inspiration. As a lot of my fic ideas come from music, this is important -hee hee. Think: CASCADA-like. What? I do so have taste! Kinda...

8. Baseball ANYTHING. I support the KC Royals, who are shit, but I love them.

9. Donations. The charities I support are Planned Parenthood and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Disparate, yes, but both organisations indispensible.

10. Oh, yes, Dan the Man, please. If you can't get me the real thing, I'll settle for the virtual version - art, photos, a lock of hair, anything.
