You Are 49% American
America: You don't love it or want to leave it.
But you wouldn't mind giving it an extreme make over.
On the 4th of July, you'll fly a freak flag instead...
And give Uncle Sam a sucker punch!

Why should I be proud of where I'm from? It's fate, isn't it? You don't get to choose where you are born. I'm GLAD I'm an American, and I'm glad I live in the UK for the moment.

What if you're from Finland but you really wish you'd been born in Australia? Huh?

I'm proud of the things I've accomplished, I like cold beer and baseball, but I also say “zed” and like blue cheese. I love the fact America has the best customer service, beautiful scenery and big cars. I don’t love that some seemingly silly social issues rather than common sense dictate the law and I'm tired of political correctness all the time.

But so what? Does that make America better or worse than Belgium? I don't get it.

Everywhere on this Earth has pluses and minuses. It's what's in YOU that defines pride, not the actions of the current government.

I love the 4th of July and I still like to rib people over here about it, but you have to remember that my British friends carry about as much responsibility for the Revolutionary War as I do for slavery.

And I got all the W states, thankyouverymuch. But that just makes me smart, not ultra-pro-American.

That's because you're weird.
