ANGER

5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you? Probably my husband

SLOTH
1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a long time? Make more filters for my emails.
2. What is the latest you've ever woken up? Noonish?

4. What is the last lame excuse you made? I don’t have time to do the dishes. It’s TRUE!
5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through (one of the long ones...)? No.
6. When was the last time you got a good workout in? Yesterday
7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today? None. My children don’t have snooze buttons. But I always get up when the alarm goes off rather than hit the snooze. I can’t usually fall asleep again if my brain starts ticking over.
GLUTTONY
1. What is your overpriced yuppie beverage of choice? Twinings lemon iced tea.
2. Meat eaters: white meat or dark meat? Yes.
3. What is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had in one sitting/outing/event? Two bottles of champagne and a pitcher of something too sweet and very alcoholic (shared with husband).
4. Have you ever used a professional diet company? No.
5. Do you have an issue with your weight? Not really. When I was in high school it bothered me, but then I realised that fitness was more important than weight and I’m much happier for it.
6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods? Mostly sweet & spicy. I could live without chips and crisps, but not chocolate or Thai food.
7. Have you ever looked at a small housepet or child and thought, "LUNCH"? No, she sheds too much.
LUST
1. How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies/family)? No idea.
2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)? As above.
3. Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a member of your gender of choice during a normal conversation? No, not the crotch.
4. Have you "done it"? Yes.

GREED

2. What's your guilty pleasure store? Valvona & Crolla, Edinburgh. Imported foods/cookbooks/gadgets.
3. If you had $1 million, what would you do with it? Travel a lot. Invest a lot. Save for the kids’ schooling. Buy another handbag.
4. Would you rather be rich or famous? Rich.
5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks? Not for long. I’ve kinda done that and it’s not as good as I thought it would be. You have to have all the other things in place to appreciate it- love, friendship, self-respect. Without those, money means nothing.
6. Have you ever stolen anything?. Yes. A hideous change purse from TG&Y when I was very young. I felt so guilty I asked my dad to drive me back the next day so I could surreptitiously return it. No one noticed.
7. How many MP3s are on your hard drive? About 300.
PRIDE
1. What one thing have you done that you're most proud of? Gotten myself to where I am now.
2. What one thing have you done that your parents are most proud of? Given them grandchildren, no doubt.
3. What thing would you like to accomplish in your life? To play with my grandchildren

Seven Heavenly Virtues
FAITH
1. What religion do you follow? Reform Judaism
2. What religion were you raised as? Mostly the same.
3. Do you believe that forgiveness is a religious property, or a human property? Since religion was created by humans, I’d say human.
4. Do you believe in magic? Is that the dark chocolate Cadbury’s Black Magic? Hell, yes, I believe in that!
5. What was the last promise you broke? I’ll ring you tomorrow.
6. Have you ever said the words to a prayer and not meant it? No.
7. Do you believe that anyone could be perfect? Of course not.
HOPE
1. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? My holidays don’t really work that way. I mention a few things I’d like, but my family don’t really take notes.
2. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? To have a happy, healthy life.
3. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? What’s the point? Learn to enjoy what you have and what you can realistically do.
5. Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? Sure- once in awhile.
6. Do you gamble? If so, what game or activity? Not really, but I like Black Jack.
7. Have you ever had something called off on account of bad weather, but then gone ahead and done it anyway? Nothing here is called on account of bad weather- it’s expected!
CHARITY
1. What causes do you support? SSPCA, Lifeboat Appeal (which are REAL lifeboats, btw), pdsa (animals in need of vets), Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust- both my husband and I are on their list of donors.
2. What causes have you given money or time to? The above. And others in the past, I’m sure.
3. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? Yup.
4. Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? Was accepted into the PC, but went to grad school instead. May still do the PC. I don’t agree with all the tenets of Amnesty International.
5. Do you give money to the homeless on the street? No.
6. Have you ever helped out a friend with basic needs, like rent or food? Of course.
7. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? I can’t recall.
FORTITUDE
1. What are you most afraid of? Not seeing my children grow up.
2. What did you do today that was really brave? Changed a couple of really toxic nappies.

JUSTICE
1. Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? Were you chosen? No.
2. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? Depends on the reason I was drafted. Fighting another Hitler? Yes. Another Saddam. No.
3. Do you support capital punishment (the death penalty)? No. There are worse things than death. For instance, there’s watching TPM.
4. Which should be guaranteed legal: Drugs or prostitutes. Prostitutes. But only if it’s controlled and drug-free and the workers have the upper hand (so to speak).
5. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? Yes.
6. What was your favorite media circus trial? None. There must have been better things to spend public money on.
7. Have you ever written a letter to a politician? Yes. Here and at home.
TEMPERANCE

4. Have you ever put anything on layaway or used an installment plan? Making car payments. Does that count?

1. Who is the wisest person you know? Gandalf. Ok, I don’t know him, personally.

Trading Spaces is the crappy and really harsh American version of Changing Rooms which I don't really like either. I like those kind of shows where the people are always happy with the decorating/style choices. That gardening show with the chick who never wore a bra comes to mind--no one ever minded when they came in and redid their crappy gardens.
