Why do I do this to myself? Why, every so often, do I have to temper my ridiculous taste for fluff, humour, romance and PWP with something so gut-wrenchingly sad? That's a rhetorical question, people. I was up till 2am re-reading all but the last 4 chapters of One Night Out on Good Behaviour and then re-read the rest of it today. Gah- I'm still frakking crying!

Before I dissolve into a complete blubbering mess, I have to rec a nice little DR/TF RPS by the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] dripping_cherry who knows I'll never, ever post this link anywhere else but here. I may have had my hands partially over my eyes whilst reading it, but I think that just made it hawter. Thank you for that little bit of dangerous smut and thank you to [livejournal.com profile] katelinmr for making her do it!

Also, I must rec [livejournal.com profile] leochi's latest addition to her picture board, Pansy, who is my favourite female student. Go look at all of them in this series and leave some love.

Now to the icon list [livejournal.com profile] lijalover chose.

I love this icon. To me it's a fair juxtaposition of nursing and smut- and that's pretty much me.

I can't remember where I found this picture. I originally used it to make an icon for the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] annafugazzi after the first time I read Bond.

I love Molly Ringwald and I loved her in The Breakfast Club. My daughter is named after this character. This still photo shows her just about to lose it, which comes in handy, sometimes, eh?

As [livejournal.com profile] ladyoneill can testify to, before the Internet, before computers, before the concept of a fangirl existed, we were happily Mary-Sueing our way through Hogan's Heroes. Aside from being a useful expression, this icon is a homage to my mis-spent youth.

Betty Boop makes such a cute nurse. I use this one when feeling frisky. Which isn't now.

I love Dune. I love Children of Dune. I love James McAvoy. 'nuff said.

Holy shit and also LOL!! Hogan's Heroes?!? Why do I not remember this? Can you send me some? Or no, maybe that's disturbing given what happened to Bob Crane...

No you may not and yes it is. (I think Laure still has it all; it's long-hand.)

You're behaving very strangely, mentioning not mentioning the link all over the place.

*wonders if you didn't, in fact, dm it to Dan*

Thanks for the rec!

Sorry this reply is so damn late! Help yourself to the icon, but if you wait a bit, I think Cherry's going to fix the font for me so it's clearer.
