"I hate them," Scorpius complained.

Harry smiled. "I think they're nice."

"Well, you would," Scorpius said unkindly.

They stood together, their reflections staring back at them in the mirror.

"You look beautiful," Harry whispered. He brushed Scorpius' hair away from the young man's neck and placed a soft kiss on the exposed flesh.

Scorpius was not going to be mollified so easily. "You're just saying that."

"Yes, I am saying that." Harry mouthed his way to the nape of Scorpius' neck, sucking gently. Scorpius leaned in, warming to his touch, but still not happy.

Scorpius sighed. "I hate needing glasses."
