I've gone completely FRAKKING crazy and it's all marguerite_26's fault.

The GP who was chairing my Clinical Governance meeting this afternoon could have walked out of any of her latest fics. I couldn't concentrate on ANYTHING. Everything was perfect- hair (just going grey at the temples) glasses (slightly more fashionable than the original model), sense of humour, personality, everything! I'm sure he thought I was nuts.

And I've just heard marguerite_26's writen a sequal to one of her lovely fics, and I can't wait!!! Thank you! BUT, I want some more of "Seventeen", too. I mean okay, Al knows, but there's still a character out there in the dark, as it were, who might have a different reaction... Puleeeeeeeaaaaseeee? Okay, enough grovelling. I'll shut up now.

*kicks chair dejectedly and wishes she could write better angst, smut, fluff, romance, etc.* Hey, but if you're needing slapped in the face with a rubber chicken or want a piano dropped on someone, I'm your gal!

I hope kilter can make it through the rest of the day without her iPod and doesn't offend anyone with NiN coming through the speakers! And it's not like your mind is on work anyway.

For the Grrrls of HSU, things at Target are progressing slowly and badly. The store detectives are getting suspicious and the whole Fellowship (which let's face it, wasn't built on the strongest of foundations) is about to collapse. Oh, all except dorotea's Lavender Lord, who is STILL trying it on with my EA!

BSG tonight! Hey, they got Lee outta that stupid tie last week, so here's hoping they get him out of that suit and back into a uniform tonight. I can't stand the corporate look on him! Although, strangely, the suit does work well on the older (VPish) model.

All for now as I've got to get Thing 1 and Thing 2 into the bath.

BSG was very very very good. They're wrapping up stuff nicely. Can't believe it's almost over!

My boss is sick so I'm spending the day reading Highlander fic and watching Highlander eps on hulu.com Protestant work ethic apparently means nothing to me. *snort*

I better get my damn fuzzy bunny slippers before the Fellowship eats itself!

And writing takes practice. The stuff I wrote in high school--oh god it burns!--even my first fanfics are nothing in comparison to my writing now.
