N-Non, Je Ne Regretted Rien, classic Edith Piaf. Whenever I listen to this on the computer, I feel like I’m in a cybercafé in Occupied France.
U-Up and Outta Here by R. Kelly. Aside from being on one of the best soundtracks ever (Shaft-the newer one), it’s also by one of the best R&B singers.
R-Roll Me Away by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. I think my mum used to have this on an eight track tape when I was young. As well as the nostalgic influence, it now also has the unfortunate effect of reminding me of Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler and animal crackers.
S- Snowfall on the Sahara, by Natalie Cole. Heard it first on NPR of all places and it ALWAYS makes me think of the Farmboy.
E-El Cuarto de Tula by the Buena Vista Social Club. Happy Latin music that’s got a great beat to do an ab work-out to. I’m not sure who Tula is or what’s so special about her room, though. Someday I’ll have to pay more attention to the lyrics.
D-Da, Da, Da by Trio. God, does this song remind me of the ‘80s and my undergrad days.
A-Africa, by Toto. See “S”; it has the same effect.
R-Rooftops by The Lostprophets. Just a plain old good NEW song. There are a couple.
R-Redemption Song by Bob Marley. Lyrics sublime. Singing magnificent.
Y-You’ve Got a Friend by Carol King. This song SOOO makes me think of the Hos.

Not that fussed where I live, as long as my family and the Hos are with me.

My alarm meows, and my first thought was “Blanche, get the &”$£%! off me!”

Did my inlaws enjoy the shepherds pie I made.

Quite a few as I pop my knuckles. Only two involuntarily- knees.
