Liberation!
Free at last from hormones, diaphragms, jelly, condoms, injections and other such contraceptive paraphenalia.
The wounds hurt a bit (laprascopic, so I've got two little holes- one just south of my belly button and one in my section scar) and the morphine made me puke, but the procedure only took 20 minutes, I had a long sleep in the hospital and was still home the same day (went in at 11am and left at 9pm).
And best of all, it didn't cost me a penny.
Plus my friend Paulette brought me up £10 worth of Jelly Belly jelly beans (the cappucino ones rock!) and my mother sent me four baseball DVDs!
Time to go feed the troops.
