Ho, ho, hospital

Not where I wanted to spend Christmas, but that's where I'll be. Evidently, I don't have exacerbation of my asthma, I either have an ulcer or it's my gallbladder. EDT: or it's renal or maybe it is respiratory after all. I've been quoted all of those now. Oy veh.

I have, at least, spent the day relatively pain-free and just about to be transferred to a surgical ward.

Hubs and kids are at in-laws and will see them before going to theatre. Nurses and docs here are brilliant, and I'm hoping to be home tomorrow eve.

I wish everyone on my flist has a wonderful holiday. Eat and drink lots for me, cause I'm nil by mouth. And completely nauseus. TMI?

Yanno, if you didn't want to spend Christmas with the in-laws, you should have just said! I think surgery is a little extreme as far as avoidance tactics go.

Now, mind you're a good patient, and if you're really lucky there might be a bed bath from a hot male nurse in your not-so-distant future!!
