Sticky post of fic-age
Jul. 31st, 2030 06:16 pmHello! I've moved most of my work (if it you can call it that) over to AO3, so start there :D
I mostly write humour, flangst, and crack. If you're looking for deep and meaningful, you've come to the wrong place; if you want a piano dropped on your head, I'm your gal. I enjoy reading and writing ensemble pieces. (I have been known to dabble with darker themes, and I'd like to write more, but my betas always roll their eyes when I suggest it.)

Date: 2010-01-07 10:47 pm (UTC)Also curious what all you had to do to transfer your nursing license to the UK. As I hope my life will follow that same route!
*really isn't creepy, I swear*

Date: 2010-01-07 11:22 pm (UTC)But you aren't going to like my answer about nursing: I trained over here. I did a BS in the States (anth/bio) and then moved to the UK. A friend suggested nursing school, since most employers weren't desperate for physical anthropologists. Afterwards, I went back to the States for my MPH, because at the time no one here had a programme. Sorry if that's not terribly helpful...

Date: 2010-01-08 01:25 am (UTC)That's interesting. I want to move to the UK so badly, but I also want to get my master's in forensic nursing. I'm so conflicted! What made you move there?
(I always thought forensic anthropology would be fun!)
Translate In the Beginning to Chinese
Date: 2010-01-31 05:41 am (UTC)I like your fiction In the Beginning very much and would like to translate it into Chinese. Could you kindly let me know whether this is fine with you?
Thanks,
Song

Date: 2010-01-31 06:03 am (UTC)I would be thrilled to have this story translated into Chinese! It's a wonderful honour to know that you liked this story enough to take on such a project.
Please let me know if there's anything you need and of course, please pass on the link when you're done and I'll post it here and on the comms, making sure you receive tons of credit for it!
Wow, you've really made my day! Thank you!

Date: 2010-02-03 10:27 pm (UTC)I've got a link to the comm on my page, anyway. That way, in case the comm has a clear-out, a link to the fic will still be patent.
Many thanks for all of your hard work on this!

Date: 2010-07-12 07:53 pm (UTC)Even though I'm kind of sad that you mainly writer fanfiction and that is from Harry Potter, since I'm not the fan. Lately I only (if I read at all) I read Bleach or Katekyo Hitman Reborn - any even those I only ship one pairing from both. How awful is that. xD
But I will take some time to trow an eye on your yummies.

Date: 2010-07-12 07:57 pm (UTC)I've not been writing long, and unlike most writers, I don't really want to be a professional writer, so it's not as good as yours, I'm very sure! LOL!

Date: 2010-07-12 08:05 pm (UTC)You are probably too modest. And you don't even know my writing - it might be a crap. A total crap. xD
Well, if you are interested, I have a writing journal (which is actually pretty lonely) and here is the link to my stories (the links lead to either fanfiction or fictionpress)
So which one of your stories you would recommend to me?

Date: 2010-07-12 08:12 pm (UTC)If you want something a little more traditional, then "Young & the Restless" or "I'll Show You Mine". If you'd like something a bit more funny, than "Joy Ride" might be good, but you'd need to have read at least the first HP book. Most of my stuff has humour in it.
Will have a look at your stuff as well - many thanks for the links!

Date: 2010-07-13 01:56 pm (UTC)I'm glad you like What if, and that is actually an original fiction with original characters, as are all on the fictionpress.net. If you want to read fanfiction you should click the stories that are on fanfiction.net.
And sorry that I didn't reply sooner, but at my work I can't access LJ or any similar sites.
P.S.: And you package had been sent.

Date: 2010-09-04 02:58 am (UTC)I got the alert that you'd subscribed to my journal here, so I've subscribed to yours and added you for access as well. I saw we joined at nearly the same time, but I've not been using my account here nearly as much as you have. Not sure why really since it's ad-free, works similarly to LJ and can hold much more text in a single post ... but on the other hand, I read & comment more at LJ than I post anyway.
One day, I'm going to put all my fics up over here. No clue when that day will get here, but it will eventually. One day I'm going to have more time to write. The job I took in June is great, except for the amount of time I'm putting into it. Cuts into my fun time a bit more than I'd like.

Date: 2012-09-01 03:53 pm (UTC)Just wanted to say, I hope it's ok if I've added you as a friend. I've read most of your stories (at least, I think so...there's so much shiny in this list!! ^^) and they're SOO good! I'd love to be able to fangirl you properly. Without
too muchcreepy stalking. =PAlso, I agree with you, school smut is ♥. Oh and I'm over 18. =)
