FYI, I haven't checked LJ since I left on holiday (5 April) and I'm sure I've missed all sorts of wonderful things. If you've posted anything I need to see, I'm sorry, but it's going to have to wait until I get back.

I'm still in the States (scheduled now to be back on Monday afternoon), unless Heathrow stays closed for any longer.

I have no computer access aside from this hotel computer, which you can imagine, is in constant use now (hence I'm up at half-twelve writing this).

I'm in LA at the moment (routed here from Miami, if you can believe it), but there are bigger planes and more of them from here, so fingers crossed. Kids will miss at least a day of school, and I couldn't be busier at work and with class, too! Grrr. I don't even want to think about the extra money this is costing us - who knows if the insurance will cover it. Not holding my breath...

If anyone is in the LA area, let me know. Am going into H/D withdrawl, despite the hotel we're staying at being located on a cross street called Felton Ave - LOL!

Will try to stay current with my email, but that's dependent on my access to this computer...

I'm sorry to hear you're stuck there, though the kids probably love the idea of missing school for a day or two (?). I hope the air traffic returns to normal as soon as possible and that you can return home safely.

Oh geez, Miami to LA to UK?!?! Holy bologna that's a bit out of the way for you. I do hope you are able to catch a flight on Monday. Can you think of it as a mini-holiday and do a few touristy things while you're there? Maybe ogle DanRad's handprints at the Chinese Theatre? Feel him up a bit? Will that help?

Spending some time doing the sight-seeing thing, as it's been years since I've been here. I used to work in the film industry in the UK and am having a great time explaining all the movie stuff to the kids.
