In My Dreams
“I hope I can make it across the
border. I hope to see my friend
and shake his hand. I hope the
Pacific is as blue as it has been
in my dreams.
I hope.”
~Morgan Freeman*

She’d shown us a film in History of Magic. Of course she'd done more than the assignment required, which was researching recent Magical history and giving a presentation about our chosen subject. (Who even knew Binns had a lesson plan?)
I’d thought it was a Muggle film until I realised that the author of the book was a Wizard.
It was a good film, long, but it seemed to go by quickly. There was a lot of humour in it - something I didn’t expect from a film set in a prison. There were some terrible bits in it, too.
And then there were bits, like that part at the end, which just made you feel kind of mushy, even if you didn’t want to. I can be quite emotional, but I wasn’t then. Most of the girls and a fair number of boys were pretending they weren’t crying.
It made an impression on me, I suppose, because I’m thinking about the words now. Not their meaning, which really only applied to the film, but the feeling behind them. To achieve what they did was staggering.
To have what I want with you, well…
I fall asleep imagining the blue Pacific echoing in my ears.
~
I hope we can survive what’s coming.
I hope to see you on the other side
and kiss your hands, your mouth. I hope you’ll understand
why I can’t make this real, as it’s been in my dreams.
I hope.

Sizzling
“I hope you know what you’re doing, Potter.”
“I do. I hope you enjoy it.”
*Things start to sizzle*
“Potter! Don’t touch it!”
“C’mon, Malfoy. Look, mine’s almost hard.”
“Yours might be hard. Mine’s still…floppy.”
“Will you relax? I’ve done this before.”
“Well, I haven’t. This is my first time, and you’re supposed to be supportive.”
“I am being supportive. In fact, I’ve done most of the work.”
“That’s not true! I had to make sure we had...everything we needed.”
“And how was that such a hardship?”
“You know what I’m like, Potter. I don’t like surprises.”
“C’mon, it’s time. Turn over.”
“Are you sure? I’m still not— No, you do it instead.”
“I’ll help you.”
“Be gentle.” *winces*
“There, that wasn’t so bad.”
“I dunno, I still don’t think I’m ready.”
“I’m ready. Here, put it in your mouth and see.”
*A sceptical look* “What if, you know, stuff comes out of it?”
“It doesn’t taste so bad. Trust me.”
“Have you tried it before? I mean your own stuff?”
“Oh, for Merlin’s sake!” *tastes* “There! Not bad at all. Your turn.”
*tastes* “Ewww! That’s vile!”
“Whatever, Malfoy.”
“And then you’re expected to slather that goo all over it, too? I don’t think so.”
“That’s not a very nice thing to say to someone who’s only trying to help you have a good first experience.”
“Help me? I wouldn’t be in this fucking predicament if you hadn’t forced me to sign up for Muggle Studies with you!”
“How did I know they were going to make us learn how to make pancakes?!”
“Well, I say we sneak out of class to my dorm so you can put your cock in my mouth instead.”
The End.
Happy Birthday, honey!
