The Cubs out? Not fair-I can't wait another 100 years!

In other news- Dor, I SO had to laugh as I was packing up my books today and came across the one you sent to me about ropes and knots! I was reading what you had written in it about how LP said the knot on page 37 was particularly painful and just giggled myself stupid. (The CC group might not find that so amusing:)

Two more weeks to go before we move and only one more week of work. I just want to be unpacked and in the new house. Actually, what I really want is to know what the inside of the damn house looks like so I can figure out where to put everything! Luckily I'm not a pack-rat and will ruthlessly toss out stuff I haven't used or looked at in the last year (unless of course it has special meaning like a random book on knots and ropes). I justify that by thinking someday Iain might be a longshoreman and need to know that stuff.

Have a free minute so rather than blether here, I'm off to do something much more productive and have a quick read of the Strictly Come Dancing messageboards.
