Entertaining two fangirls at the house today and we've written fic, painted pictures - well, they did, cause I'm crap at that sort of thing - played with gilitter, and eaten ice cream. ([livejournal.com profile] cassie_black12 is just so awesome I can't even find the words!!<-- [livejournal.com profile] jtsbbsps_dk wrote that.)

That's pretty much it, unless you count the foray into the overcrowded, completely mud-caked Tesco nearest me, which is also the Tesco nearest to the Reading Festival - that was hell. But the strains of Muse that wafted into the garden tonight were nice.

I've also snagged a most excellent prompt over at [livejournal.com profile] mini_fest, which I'm so keen to do!!!

Getting through [livejournal.com profile] hd_holidays, and having a great time writing it and discussing it with these poor girls whom I'm sure are sick of listening.

Just waiting for my [livejournal.com profile] the_ass_fest fic to get back from the Coroner, and will send it off for the second autopsy next week. Should have it submitted by next Saturday, Kitty!

And, without further ado - WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS! CHECK US OUT!

I'm slow in posting these days; so much going on in RL here and all over the world. So, here's a quick check in and <<< flist hug >>>.

Big thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kitty_fic, [livejournal.com profile] lijahlover, [livejournal.com profile] cassie_black12, [livejournal.com profile] meglw0228, [livejournal.com profile] jtsbbsps_dk, and [livejournal.com profile] treacle_tartlet for the rockin' headphones.

Don't forget [livejournal.com profile] hd_remix is still posting and has some amazing fic and artses on offer. Again thanks to all of those who have contributed and stay tuned - we've got a couple more weeks of awesome posts to go!

Things here are, pretty much the same: crazy busy but controlled. I hope that wherever you are, my flist, you are all safe and happy.

I don't think we've had an "I'm okay" message from sensei YN yet. Hopefully that will come soon.
She's fine! YAY!

Or whatever - I'm sure there's a greeting card for that.

Anyway, big boxy Thank Yous to [livejournal.com profile] kitty_fic, [livejournal.com profile] nicevenn, [livejournal.com profile] cassie_black12, and [livejournal.com profile] aigooism for the mystery gifts!

And cheers, Malfoy, for the Mystery Envelope. Who DID you send that last owl to, anyway? I saw it flying east...

In other news, *punches air* my [livejournal.com profile] harrydracompreg prompt has been chosen! Looking at it again, I realise one of my favourite fics is pretty much based on the same damn prompt, but hey, there can never be too much of a good thing! *headdesk*

Speaking of prompts, I've duly been over to [livejournal.com profile] hd_smoochfest and left my measley two prompts - TWO? What kind of censure is that? I'd prepared THREE, donchuknow? *grumbles*

And finally, can I just get a *SQUEE* for now having received half of the [livejournal.com profile] hd_remix submissions? They're all so good, I can't wait to post them. The rest should be coming on Sunday - hee hee, I said coming - and posting begins on 1 March, one a day, for 25 days.

To everyone who celebrates it, Happy Valentine's Day! *throws chocolates at you* To all those who don't, Happy Anti-Valentine's Day! *throws chocolates at you*

Everyone's a winner - to you all!

Tickets to the States next spring have been booked! I'm dragging the poor, unsuspecting [livejournal.com profile] cassie_black12 and [livejournal.com profile] alovelycupoftea over with my children and me to visit my parents, friends and EVERY FANGIRL AND BOY WE CAN MEET! We'll be in Chicago (11-14 April), Kansas City (14-18 April), and the Seattle area (18-25 April), so if you're there, shout! [livejournal.com profile] dysonrules is forcing us to has suggested we attend NorWesCon, so that's where we'll be winding up this party. Hope to see you! *cries about not being able to kidnap [livejournal.com profile] jtsbbsps_dk and go to Yaoi.con*

THANK YOU to the awesome people who nomm'd me and have been voting for me at the [livejournal.com profile] dracoawards. I have an H/D story here and my Draco/James Sirus story here, if anyone feels like clickity-clicking ticky boxes. I'm chuffed that these were so well-received; I had so much fun writing them. It's especially poignant to note that Out on the Tiles was the last fest fic I've written, and that Rising Up Through the Air was my first.

Sign ups for [livejournal.com profile] hp_nextgen_fest: October 20-31, 2009!

And, in a bow to peer pressure, and because I think it's way cool, (although I put down Mercury not Saturn, and I'm not sure I want to be likened to a cervix, but still...)

You are the World

Completion, Good Reward.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.

What Tarot Card are You?

Back to Hols - busy, busy, busy: beta had a field day - no time for chit-chat!
